Julian Machin has operated as a private gallery and curator since 1987. Less concerned with names or fashions, his philosophy has been simple: to know a good work of art where it presents itself and a bad work of art where it presents itself.

As a curator, Julian Machin has worked regularly with museums and exhibitions: with the National Portrait Gallery, the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, Bury Art Gallery, the National Trust, Penlee House Museum & Art Gallery, Penzance, and Charleston Farmhouse, the centre for Bloomsbury in Sussex. He curates Art Aid, the bi-annual charity show at the Royal College of Art, 2005, and represents the estate of the painter Adrian Ryan (1920-1998) www.adrianryan.co.uk

The gallery is situated in SW10 and open by appointment only.
